Vehicle wraps

Vehicle graphics

Vehicle wraps and graphics can be used to partially or completely cover a car, truck or van with an advertisement – it’s like a mobile billboard! Wraps are achieved using large vinyl sheets as “decals” that are long-lasting and weatherproof.

Vehicles with large, flat surfaces such as trailers, buses and light-rail are often wrapped because of their size and ease of installation, but cars, trucks, boats and motorcycles can also be wrapped to promote a business or just to create for a unique, personalized look.

KORT Sign Design provides custom branding for corporate fleets, national franchises, transportation agencies, municipalities and commercial clients; we’ve even wrapped a food truck or two that you might have seen around St. Paul and Minneapolis. Using cutting-edge installation practices, KORT can handle your most challenging vehicle wrap needs in our own facility.

The Red Pig and Truffle, one of our clients, has a successful food truck business and asked for our help in creating a new vehicle wrap that matched their brand and the unique type of food they made. Through our planning and design process, we came up with a vehicle wrap design that displayed their energy and creativity in the food business (and ours in the sign business)!

Vehicle wraps are an affordable way to improve brand identity and name recognition. An Arbitron, Inc. (Nielsen), study shows that more than 95% of Americans travel by car each week, creating a mass audience for your advertising. One vehicle wrap can generate between 30,000 – 70,000 impressions each day, depending on your market and how much you’re on the road!

Vehicle wraps are now being recognized as an extremely cost effective and unique form of outdoor media for all kinds of businesses. Guaranteeing your satisfaction, our graphic designers will create photo-accurate, high-resolution promotional displays for your company cars, vans and trucks.

Are Vehicle Wraps A Good Investment?

Yes! The cost per impression is so much less than traditional advertising. A recent article from ARD Ventures, a venture capital firm in conclusion “Vehicle wraps are an outstanding addition to an integrated marketing strategy.” Considered as Mobile Billboards, this medium is very affective according to this article in Green Image Marketing specifically, 2.5 times more attention than a static billboard!

Another white paper from Out Of Home Advertising Association, says that vehicle advertising can be the most effective and efficient form of out of home advertising, reaching more consumers at a lower cost per thousand impressions than any other form of advertising.

Where do you install vehicle wraps?

We design, print and install here at KORT Sign Design all year around.  All the tools we need are in our shop, which is a heated indoor space with a 20’ ceiling.  With that said, we can travel to the customer’s site when needed. For example, we had a customer that owned several semi-trailers but only one truck which was always on the road, so we had to wait for a ‘good’ day, no wind, good temperatures, etc. to get it done on-site.

Speaking of semi-trailers; we do have limitations in our space.  We can fit a vehicle that is 10’H 10’W and about 20’ long in our space. However, we have arrangements with a company to borrow their space that can fit a semi-trailer.  We are ready for anything and everything.
