BAUHAUS BREW LABS’ SIGN CHALLENGE

Bauhaus Brew Labs is a popular taproom in Northeast Minneapolis. The agency that had created the taproom’s brand recommended Bauhaus contact KORT for several sign projects. Bauhaus had several needs for its new facility, from window graphics and wayfinding signs to menu boards and vinyl decals for its beer tanks. We were up to the challenge!

KORT’S SIGN SOLUTION

The KORT design team coordinated with Bauhaus’ marketing agency to obtain the taproom’s brand colors, logo, and other necessary art files to ensure the signs we created represented the Bauhaus brand.

We used the Bauhaus logo to create an indoor sign that we installed on the taproom’s mobile bar for instant brand recognition. The letters were glued onto an acrylic arrow to create a floating look. The wayfinding signs and window graphics had a similar aesthetic.

The Bauhaus menu board included permanent menu items and seasonal brews. Our solution was to apply vinyl graphics for the year-round beers and magnetic strips with dry-erase laminate to make updating seasonal offerings a snap. We created vinyl graphics for the beer tanks, too.

We’re proud of how the many signs we designed and installed for Bauhaus came together for a coherent, on-brand look.
